Savory spiced mince
500g of minced beef
Tin of tomatoes
Tin of kidney beans
1 red pepper
1 red chilli
1 clove of garlic
1 red onion
1 green pepper
Salt and pepper to season
Optional sides- Rice or a baked potato
In a blender, add the tin of tomatoes, red chilly, 1/2 red pepper, 1/2 green pepper, garlic. Blend until smooth
In a pot, cook off diced onions until soft. Add your minced beef. Cook until brown.
Add the remainder of diced red and green pepper. Add a level teaspoon of cumin and smoked paprika. Add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric and a tin of kidney beans. Add salt and pepper.
Pour in the tomato and chilly based sauce. Bring to the boil. Once boiling, turn down heat and allow to simmer for 10-15 mins.
Serve with Rice or baked potato
